Supporting Communities

To respond to the unique needs around the world, our colleagues support local efforts to strengthen healthcare, education and the communities where we live and work. We volunteer our time and provide in-kind and monetary donations to support a variety of local causes around the world all year long. Many of our teams across the world have created local groups to identify and address community needs. In 2025, our teams participated in beach clean-ups, tree plantings and ran marathons, among other efforts, to help communities in need.

Viatris works to be a model for sustainable access to medicine at scale and a reliable partner in addressing some of the world’s most enduring health challenges. We do this in many ways, including supporting organizations that are addressing some of these challenges, including ongoing inequities like hunger, a lack of access to care and the effects of natural weather emergencies. In 2025, Viatris provided monetary corporate donations for emergency relief efforts to Direct Relief, Save the Children, the American Red Cross, Americares, SBP and World Central Kitchen to help respond to community needs due to armed conflicts persisting in Ukraine and the Middle East and weather-related emergencies devastating communities globally.
