Paul Duffy serves as Chief Supply Officer at Viatris, joining the Company in November 2026, where he leads the company’s global supply organization and is responsible for advancing operational excellence across its worldwide manufacturing and supply network.
Paul is a seasoned pharmaceutical operations leader with more than 35 years of experience across global supply chain management, manufacturing, strategy and business transformation. Prior to joining Viatris, he served as Senior Vice President, Small Molecule Operations for Pfizer Global Supply, where he led a global network responsible for the production and supply of Pfizer's small molecule portfolio.
In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Paul has held numerous leadership and governance roles, including Chairperson of the Workplace Relations Commission, President of the American Chamber of Commerce and President of the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC). He has also served on the boards of several organizations, including IDA Ireland, IBEC, the American Chamber of Commerce, Life Sciences Ireland, Co-operation Ireland and the Cork Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to Mylan, Peter was Global Head of Supply Chain for Merck Generics and spent nine years at Alphapharm in a number of operational leadership roles.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from University College Galway, as well as an MBA from the Open University in the United Kingdom.
